The journey

Hi and welcome to my website. I’m Nick Williams and this is The Coach Station.

My coaching and coach education career spans 4 decades. My journey began as an assistant coach, now 30 years later I have coached 1000s of players of all levels; trained 1000s of coaches and trained over a 100 coach educators in tennis and padel. I have assessed 1000s of coaches taking their qualifications.

I’ve been Head Coach at large programmes in the Midlands, London and the South East of England. I’ve coached children from age of 3 at all levels including those representing GB. I’ve worked with adults of all levels individually and in large groups.

In 2008, I started my own coach education centre which at it’s peak trained in excess of 400 coaches per year. I have written or co-authored multiple coaching qualifications, most notably the LTA Tennis Coach L3 and LTA Padel Instructor L2. In 2025, I am commissioned to lead a team to develop the new LTA Master Coach L5 qualification which is the highest coaching qualification in the UK.

From 2020, I have immersed myself in Padel, working with the Padel School as their Head of Coach Education, training coaches and players in the UK, Europe and beyond.

I offer fantastic group coaching sessions for players of all levels in Padel.

I believe in a person centred approach to coaching, tailoring my coaching to the individual needs of all players.

I provide clinics for players in all UK locations and internationally.

My Tutoring

I support Coaches on their playing and coaching journey.

I fully understand the coaching journey to becoming a confident practitioner.

Join me online with mentoring calls on a wide variety of topics or in person sessions with you and your players.

Venue Support

I’ve been a Head Coach and a Centre Manager. I have decades of experience of building successful programmes .

From participation to performance, I have been involved in it all.
