Coaching Team Culture – how’s yours?

In my career, I have been involved with many teams. Some, I have loved and some not so much! In both padel and tennis all across the world, I can see the good ✅, the bad ❌ and the ugly 🤡 of cultures developing.

Great coaching team cultures:
Share a common goal – we write and review our goals regularly
Have a team atmosphere – we’ve got each others back; we attend social events and enjoy them, they’re not a chore!
Value the individual – we respect individuality and use it as a strength to complement team dynamics
Grow together – we all value learning and improving; we take feedback from each other and grow as a team
Communicate with consistency – we speak to each other and our customers with respect every day

Finding technically gifted coaches can be easy. Finding coaches that become long term assets is much harder. Find one and do everything to keep them!

What are your great examples of coaching team culture?
